Full Day, Overnight Camp-outs, Multi-Day Custom Trips -
Wetherill Mesa & Hunt's Mesa

Wetherill Mesa and Hunt's Mesa divide Mystery Valley and Monument Valley. A geological survey team named the mesas for John Wetherill, the trader who established the first trading post at Oljato in 1906 and for Jim and Ray Hunt, uranium miners in the early 1950's. But, the Dineh' have called this area home for over a century. They have their own place names for the mystic canyons. Take the trails to these mesas for panoramic views of Monument Valley.
Enjoy the serenity as sunrises and sunsets paint changing colors on the towering sandstone formations and across the sky.
